This weekend, I received some incredibly kind messages from customers, and they truly made me happy. 🤎

I wanted to share a few of them because every word of support means so much to me. Knowing that people are discovering, and enjoying, flavors and traditions from my part of Italy here in Texas is something really special.

At the same time, these messages motivate me to keep improving, learning, experimenting, and creating even more authentic experiences through Pittula. I never want to stop at what I already know, I always want to do more, and do it better.

For me, the market is never just about selling food. It’s also a way to 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 that are sometimes unknown even to Italians themselves.

That’s the beauty of Italy, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 that you can only really discover by exploring beyond the usual destinations.

And for those who can’t travel yet (or dream of doing it someday) I love being able to bring a small taste of those places here ✨

I get asked this all the time, and honestly, I don’t judge. 𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲😊.

Dip it in good olive oil, turn it into a sandwich, pair it with cheese and prosciutto… or do what we do in Italy and just eat it like that!
