At Pittula Italian Goodies LLC, customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. Every order is prepared with care using fresh, high-quality ingredients and authentic Italian recipes. Because many of our products are freshly made to order and highly perishable, our refund and returns policy differs from that of traditional retail products.
1. Perishable Food Products
Most products sold by Pittula are freshly prepared food items intended for prompt consumption. Due to their perishable nature, all food sales are considered final.
Once an order has been collected, we cannot accept returns or exchanges except where required by applicable law or in cases of verified product defects or fulfillment errors.
2. Orders Eligible for Refund or Replacement
A refund, replacement, or store credit may be offered at our sole discretion if:
- You received the wrong product.
- Your order was incomplete due to our error.
- A product was significantly damaged or defective at the time of pickup.
- We were unable to fulfill your order.
- An error occurred during the preparation or fulfillment of your order.
Each request will be reviewed individually before a final decision is made.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds, replacements, or store credit will not be provided in the following circumstances:
- Failure to collect an order during the selected pickup period.
- Change of mind after placing an order.
- Incorrect product selection made by the customer.
- Personal taste preferences.
- Minor variations in appearance, size, shape, or color resulting from handmade production.
- Improper transportation, storage, or handling after pickup.
- Products consumed partially or entirely before reporting an issue.
4. Missed Pickup Orders
Customers are responsible for collecting their order at the selected pickup location on the chosen pickup date and within the scheduled pickup window.
Orders that are not collected during the designated pickup period are considered abandoned.
Because our products are freshly prepared specifically for each customer and cannot be resold, missed pickup orders are not eligible for refunds, replacements, or store credit.
If extraordinary circumstances prevent a customer from collecting an order, Pittula may, at its sole discretion and without obligation, evaluate alternative arrangements. Any accommodation is exceptional and shall not create any ongoing right to refunds, replacements, future credits, or modifications of this policy.
5. Reporting an Issue
If you believe there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup.
To help us investigate your request, please provide:
- Your order number.
- A detailed description of the issue.
- Photographs of the affected product(s), when applicable.
- Any additional information that may assist our review.
Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for review due to the perishable nature of our products.
6. Refund Method
If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
Depending on your financial institution, it may take several business days before the refunded amount appears on your statement.
7. Order Cancellations
Because every order is prepared specifically for the selected pickup date, orders cannot be cancelled or modified once payment has been successfully completed.
Customers are encouraged to carefully review all order details before completing checkout.
8. Product Quality Commitment
We are committed to delivering fresh, authentic Italian products prepared according to the highest quality standards.
If, despite our commitment to quality, you believe your order does not meet reasonable expectations due to an error on our part, we encourage you to contact us promptly so we can investigate and determine an appropriate resolution.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pittula Italian Goodies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from the purchase, pickup, storage, handling, or consumption of our products.
Our maximum liability shall never exceed the amount actually paid for the affected order.
10. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Returns Policy at any time without prior notice.
Any changes become effective immediately upon publication on this website.
The Effective Date shown at the beginning of this document indicates the latest revision.
